'My name is Aaron and I am a lifetime carpenter. I enjoy most aspects of the work, and helping people. Whether it's coming up with a design solution or pulling off the technical execution, I enjoy a good challenge.
It is always worth putting in the work.'
While working in construction during university, McLaughlin realized that many of the skills he had developed to create and appreciate works of art were transferable to trade work.
The production of artworks in a multitude of media taught him how to fully visualize a finished product in great detail and see that vision through to completion.
The study and discussion of artwork gave him the vocabulary to relate visual ideas, and the capacity to understand and help develop the design ideas of his clients.
Years of experience have endowed him with an acute spatial awarenes, the ability so see the potential of a space or feature, a steady hand, and an eye for detail.
Working as a contractor McLaughlin prides himself on being able to offer his customers:
•a commitment to workmanship, economic solutions, and professionalism that are based on a larger commitment to integrity and fairness
•the peace of mind that comes with having a singular working relationship with the actual tradesperson that will be on-site for the duration of the project- from estimate to completion
•an informative approach with an emphasis on the cost/value equation, understanding the technical requirements, and helping clients make informed decisions about their priorities & selections.
